Grassfed Emmentaler Swiss Cheese 20oz-Edelweiss Creamery in Monticello, Wisconsin has reintroduced the world to the traditional large Swiss cheese wheel with their 100% authentic Emmentaler. All of the milk for these wheels are sourced from the "Edelweiss Graziers" families. Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker Bruce Workman skillfully crafts the Emmentaler with raw milk in an old-fashioned copper kettle, preserving the ancestral Swiss cheesemaking heritage. At present time, Edelweiss Creamery is the only facility in the country with the capability to produce these amazing 180-pound wheels of cheese.
English Hollow Cheddar 20oz- This one is a winner! Maple Leaf's 2008 Gold Medal World Champion English Hollow Cheddar. Aged Cheddar is a sharp-tasting cheese originally made in the English village of Cheddar, in Somerset. Our version of the country’s most popular cheese is made in the rolling hills of Southern, Wisconsin. This region is famous for it’s strong Swiss heritage and abundant cheese factories. This particular area where we’re located, however, was once known as ’English Hollow’ due to a high number of dairy farms owned by English immigrants.
